Experience
Corinne brings trial advocacy and juvenile law expertise to the firm. After law school, Corinne spent two years training at Georgetown University Law Center in one of the most intensive criminal trial advocacy programs in the country. While there, she taught trial advocacy and juvenile/criminal law issues in Georgetown’s Juvenile Justice Clinic. She has represented both adults and juveniles in multiple counties in Texas, as well as in the District of Columbia. In addition to trial work, Corinne has also assisted students in school disciplinary hearings from elementary school to high school, and at the university level. Corinne has also worked on a policy level with the Austin Independent School District on issues of school safety and with the Texas Youth Commission on issues pertaining to juvenile sex offender registration. Corinne speaks on issues of constitutional and legal rights to high school and college students, and presents on basic issues of juvenile law to civil attorneys around the Austin area. She has written extensively on issues of “zero tolerance” in schools and the unfortunate shift of school discipline toward the Juvenile Justice System.
